Although massage is your time to relax and focus on you there are a few tips that will help to make your experience more comfortable: * Please remove your shoes and leave them on the mat inside the front door. * Dress for comfort - Reflexology requires massage of the lower leg and foot. Therefore loose fitting trousers or a dress/skirt is best worn for your session. Do not wear your most expensive or prized item of clothing as oil may come into contact with it! * Indian Head Massage - there is no need to wash your hair. Please inform me if you do not wish oils to be used on your hair. For the back massage you are seated on a chair and place your arms and head on the massage table. You are then asked to sit up, whereupon I will carry out the rest of the treatment. You have a choice of sarongs to wrap yourself in or a towel if you prefer. This massage can be adapted and if necessary you can lie on the couch. You do not have to remove your top, but it is much more beneficial if you do so and easier for the back massage to take place. * Please talk to me - it is important that you communicate with me if you are feeling uncomfortable, too hot or too cold. Let me know if the pressure applied is too hard. In reflexology pressure to the reflexes of your feet can cause discomfort therefore if the discomfort is too much you need to let me know . * Feel free to remain quiet - there is no requirement to chat :-) I am happy to take your lead.
Please take time to read the aftercare advice leaflet that I will give you at your appointment.
